It can be divided into three parts: intelligent driving and intelligence, chassis, body structure.
1. Intelligent driving and intelligence: Advanced intelligent driving ADS2.0 and Hongmeng 4.0 intelligent cockpit system from Huawei
Huawei ADS2.0 is Huawei advanced intelligent driver assistance system, which is a mature intelligent driver assistance solution. According to SAE classification, it is at L2 level and has certain L3 characteristics, which can take over acceleration and deceleration and steering, but still requires the driver to pay attention to road conditions.
ADS2.0 is different from the traditional car development route, it uses a visual scheme, vision + algorithm for the feature = features of the grapheless automatic driving assistance, 192 line LiDAR, 8MP front view camera, 2.5MP side/ring/rear camera, 3 millimeter wave radar, 12 ultrasonic radar, 4 door anti-collision millimeter wave radar, 540° full range coverage, full stack hardware and software integration, full travel real-time perception.
The M9 is equipped with the Hongmeng 4.0 intelligent cockpit interaction system. The underlying hardware is Huawei Kirin 9610A, using a 14nm process, the CPU computing power is 200kDMIPS, equivalent to twice the Snapdragon 8155, and the Snapdragon 8295 computing power. In other words, based on this chip, it can also drive all the "screens" in the car, including the center console large-size triple screen, four rear seat MagLink screens, external intelligent projection headlights, XHUD, and rear laser projection, a total of 10.
2. Chassis: The front double fork arm made of all-aluminum alloy and the rear multi-connecting rod are combined with air spring and CDC's "Turing" chassis
Huawei Turing chassis, all aluminum alloy front double fork arm + rear multi-link suspension system, the whole system is equipped with intelligent closed air spring and CDC variable damping shock absorber, the body height of the car is adjusted to 5 levels, comfort and control.
Road preview system, with adaptive active suspension, smoothly cope with different road conditions, high-frequency small damping strategy makes the chassis soft, reduce the seat vertical turbulence; During fast cornering, acceleration and braking, the suspension controller anticipates the driver's intention, stiffens the chassis by increasing damping, inhibits body roll and pitch, and maintains stable control.
Dynamic torque adaptive system, improve road skid, intelligent electro-hydraulic coordination, greatly improve dynamic safety, adaptive adjustment of torque, adapt to more driving scenarios.
3. Body structure: Integrated die-cast body -- "Xuanwu"
Super basalt body, the world's largest integrated die casting rear body, aluminum alloy volume of the whole car accounted for up to 80%, the lightweight coefficient is as low as 2.02, 2000MPa nuclear submarine grade thermal formed steel is used in 12 parts of the whole car, the whole car is equipped with 9 airbags +16 safety points, fully protect the safety of drivers and passengers, the threshold beam has up to 11 protective cavities. Better absorption of side impact energy.
In terms of batteries, five-layer security package design, industry-leading full high pressure thermal runaway non-spread technology, 10-layer thermal safety protection supports real-time protection, active early warning, active cooling, millisecond power off and other features to avoid battery thermal runaway in extreme cases.
Five layers of thermal safety protection: high temperature mica plate, insulating cloud parent, aero-grade thermal insulation aerogel, nano-level ceramic insulation layer, ultra-thin liquid cooling system.
The pure electric version uses Huawei DriveOne 800V high voltage electrified platform, front and rear dual motor configuration, the maximum power of the front motor is 160 kW (218 HP), the maximum power of the rear motor is 230 kW (318 HP), equipped with 100kWh battery pack, WLTC operating life of 600km, can be compatible with Huawei's 800V liquid cooled supercharge.
The extended range version is equipped with a 1.5T range extender and dual front and rear motors with power data of 365kW(496Ps) and 675N·m. The 42kWh battery pack can reach 225km of pure battery life and 1362km of comprehensive battery life under CLTC conditions.
